Independence, MO – The Greater Kansas City Building & Construction Trades Council is endorsing Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate. The KC Building Trades represent tens of thousands of workers.

“The Greater Kansas City Building and Construction Trades Council is proud to be among the first to endorse Lucas Kunce. Our time with Kunce has left us consistently impressed and with the distinct impression that he understands the seriousness of the issues facing not only our members, but our nation, in a way that is unique and born out of the lived experience of someone from a true working-class background,” said Business Manager Ralph Oropeza. “Like so many of our members, Kunce is a veteran who knows what it means to selflessly serve our nation. We look forward to working to get him into a position to serve again — this time as U.S. Senator from Missouri.”

The workers and locals represented by the KC Building Trades are the people who build our communities. They build our roads, bridges, race tracks, power plants, utilities, manufacturing facilities, airports, shopping centers, commercial buildings, hotels, convention centers, water treatment plants, chemical facilities, and auto plants.

“I’m incredibly grateful to have the support of the Greater Kansas City Building and Construction Trades Council,” said Kunce. “This fight is about more than beating Josh Hawley. It’s about the working people of Missouri. In the Senate, I’ll focus on real Missourians, on investing in this great state, and on protecting the union way of life.”
