St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council is endorsing Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate.

“The St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council proudly endorses Lucas Kunce to be Missouri’s next U.S. Senator,” said John Stiffler, Executive Secretary-Treasurer, St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council. “As a Marine veteran and born-and-raised Missourian who has lived through real economic hardship, Lucas shares the lived experience and commitment to service held by so many of our members. With Washington gripped by corporate corruption and political phoniness, we know Lucas will be the warrior for working people that Missouri desperately needs in the U.S. Senate. We’re proud to join the worker-led coalition backing him in this race.”

The St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council represents 18 locals and over 15,000 members on the eastern side of Missouri. It follows other major labor endorsements including:

  • The Missouri State Council of Firefighters, which represents 7,000 firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, and paramedics.
  • UFCW 655, Missouri’s largest private-sector local union.
  • The Kansas City Building Trades, which represents tens of thousands of workers in western Missouri.
  • More union locals and labor organizations across Missouri.

“I’m beyond grateful to have the support of the St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council,” said Kunce. “Missouri workers are tired of corporate elites and frauds calling the shots in DC. 2024 is our chance to beat Hawley and take this Senate seat back for working people — and we won’t waste it. Together, we’re going to win this race, empower working people, and rebuild our state.”
