Independence, MO — On Saturday, Lt. Col. Lucas Kunce (USMCR, 13 years active duty) joined Your World with Neil Cavuto on Fox to discuss absurdly false attacks by Josh Hawley, while advocating for America first in the next generation industry. Lucas Kunce is running for U.S. Senate to reject corruption, restore our freedoms, and rebuild Missouri.

Lucas had this to say in response to Hawley’s unfounded attacks that he wants to ban all gas and diesel, “I mean, that’s ridiculous… I’ve been endorsed by the auto workers who make the Ford F-150 right here in Missouri. It’s important for me, just as it is important for Donald Trump, to put America first in the next generation of manufacturing and energy. You know, for me, that’s something I learned at the Pentagon. I was a Marine for a long time (13 years active duty, now reserve). I actually extended for a year to work in the Trump Administration for the undersecretary of defense (USDP) for research and engineering, and what I want to do is make sure that we control our energy future and that China doesn’t control it … I’ve never said I’m going to outlaw or ban anything.”

Background:

Lucas has promised to fight for auto workers: “The only way we’ll put Missouri and America first in the next generation of industry is by investing in and empowering workers like them.”  Lucas has been endorsed by the UAW, and is a strong advocate for the PRO Act. In contrast, union members have called out Hawley’s BS pro-worker claims. Hawley is against the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, a top priority of organized labor to strengthen workers’ ability to form unions. Hawley has also refused to invest in union jobs here in Missouri (earning him a rebuke from union workers), and voted against investing in Missouri job creation nearly every chance he’s had.

Missourians are getting fired up about the opportunity to replace Josh with a real warrior for workers and their families. Josh Hawley has the lowest approval amongst Republicans up for reelection, and the polls show a tightening race between Lucas and Hawley. Lucas is building the coalition and raising the resources to win this race.
