UAW Worker In Major Op-Ed: Josh Hawley doesn’t stand with workers, he just poses

MSNBC Op-Ed

“There’s a stark difference between staging a photo op with unions when our approval numbers are high, on the one hand, and taking real votes in the Senate to fight for us on the other… We do our job. Josh Hawley isn’t doing his… We know [Hawley]’s only changed his tune because of polling and the fact that he’s up for re-election next year… I know a fraud when I see one.”

“The bottom line: Hawley leads Kunce, 44% to 43%. Given the undecided amount in the poll, about 12%, the firm says Kunce’s candidacy has ‘room to grow.'”

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch

UFCW #655 President David Cook said his union’s support of Kunce was not merely a case of sharing political dogma. “We’re behind Lucas Kunce because, as this poll shows, he can make this race competitive, and he can win.” Hawley’s campaign could not be reached Wednesday for comment.

Lucas Kunce fires up rally with local leaders, statewide labor unions, and hundreds of supporters

Any questions along those lines about the campaign of Lucas Kunce, a Democrat taking a second shot at the U.S. Senate, were answered Monday night.”
